Bell Book N Bengal
Silver Bengals
Although "Silvers" look like white cats with dark-colored markings, they are
actually BROWN cats with dark-colored markings.  They have a gene, called "the
inhibitor gene," that inhibits the brown background color,  making the cat look
white.  Silver Bengals are NOT "Snows."  To further confuse people, there ARE
Silver Lynxpoint and Silver Mink Bengals.  The genetics can become very confusing
and will not be discussed on this page. At this time, we are just getting started with
Silvers at Bell Book N Bengal, and do not have a wide variety to chose from.  Silvers
have only been accepted into championship status recently.  There are many out
there now, and you can expect to see some beautiful kittens and cats at the shows.
