Sales Contract
It is our policy to provide a copy of the signed contract with each kitten sold. Please read
this carefully if you are interested in obtaining one of our fur babies.  The welfare and
happiness of our babies and the satisfaction of our customers is our goal.

Our cats/kittens are guaranteed to be of sound health, at the time of sale, and
for a period of 72 hours.  If the cat/kitten is found to be ill, during that time, it
must be reported immediately, with confirmation from a certified veterinarian,
for reimbursement of medical bills.  If he/she is found to be medically deficient
with an untreatable or life-threatening condition, it must reported immediately,
to provide for return of the cat/kitten. A replacement cat/kitten of equal value
will be provided within 6 months of the return/demise of the ill cat/kitten.
Shipping will be paid by Bell Book N Bengal Cattery.  Reimbursement of
medical expenses will not exceed the original cost of the cat/kitten.

The cat/kitten cannot be returned after the 72 hours, and/or if he/she has be
exposed to other animals that have not been currently tested for FeLV and FIV.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide immediate medical care if the
cat/kitten shows signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so, will render any
guarantee null and void.

Our cats/kittens are guaranteed against any congenital defects for one year.
Should the cat/kitten die or become ill during that time, as a result of a
congenital defect, the cat/kitten will be replaced with another of equal value,
within 6 months of the return or demise of the cat/kitten. This will be done
ONLY with a certified veterinarian's certificate of necropsy and cause of death.

Cats/kittens that are sold as breeders will come with full breeding rights and
no restrictions on him/her or his/her offspring that is not included in an
amendment to this contract, signed by both parties at the time of sale.  The
buyer will be provided with all registration papers and pedigree information at
the conclusion of the sale as dictated by this contract and any amendment
that is included.

Cats/kittens sold as pets, will be altered prior to or within 6 months of the sale.
The buyer agrees to prevent this cat/kitten from breeding without permission
of Bell Book N Bengal Cattery. Registration papers, pedigree, and ownership
papers will be given to the buyer, without further cost, upon providing proof of
alteration by a certified veterinarian.

All cats/kittens will be registered with TICA, and may be registered with other
cat registries that accept Bengals for registration. There is no guarantee of
Show Quality, unless the cat/kitten being sold has been shown and has placed
in at least one final in an official cat show.

The buyer will notify Bell Book N Bengal Cattery if he/she should need to place
his/her cat/kitten in a different home.  First right to purchase the cat/kitten will
be provided to Bell Book N Bengal Cattery. Under no circumstances will the
purchased cat/kitten be placed in a shelter, or abandoned. Ownership of this
cat/kitten will be automatically returned to Bell Book N Bengal Cattery, if this
cat/kitten is found in a shelter or abandoned, without cost to the cattery. Fines
and fees to be paid by the buyer.

It is agreed that this cat/kitten will be maintained as an indoor-only pet, and
not be allowed to roam outside. The buyer agrees to provide a safe and
healthy environment for this cat/kitten.
